97 Points Hooke
Medium-deep colour with a tinge of purple still remaining at seven years of age. Blackberry, black olive, tar, forest-floor and licorice aromas, a note of roasting meats emerging with age. Very intense and well concnetrated palate flavour, deep and long with masse sof supple, velvety tannins. Lovely, cuddly middle-aged Barossa shiraz, starting to drink at its peak now. Drink 2024 - 2032.
