Sparkling Duck 11 is a blend of many vintages stretching back to 1993. A deliciously savoury style, with a hint of sweetness to balance the tannins within the wine. Dark red with a slight brick red hue. Aromas of liquorice strap, spice and baked black fruits. The first thing you notice is the light and fluffy bubbles on the palate. It’s as if the wine unfurls in your mouth, showing flavours of chocolate bullets, raspberry jam and brandy cake. Sparkling Duck spends 2.5 years on yeast lees in the bottle prior to being disgorged.
