Deep red, slight purple. Rich nose; ripe, warm-year bouquet: meaty and berried. Rich ripe flavours too: deep and fleshy, concentrated and tannic, mouthcoating: a sumptuous wine. Very good. Dense rich, fleshy, sweet fruit and lively acid; very driving palate and firm grippy aftertaste. Long term. Now to 12+ years.
