93 Points James Halliday
Medium to full red-purple; a smooth, clean, fine and elegant bouquet with well-balanced and integrated oak. The palate is full bodied with ripe plum and berry fruit, showing above-average concentration, and the same very well-integrated and balanced oak evident on the palate. The tannin structure, too, is good. Four gold medals. Drink to 2003.
