A lovely, lovely wine, in typical Wendouree style. Savoury, earthy, clean and mellow, with little of the common mint character often seen in Wendouree. The tannins are powder-soft and fine, and there is not a shred of cabernet leafiness, mercifully. A classic.

95 Points James Halliday
Medium to full red-purple; a stupendously concentrated and powerful bouquet, bursting with ripe blackberry fruit; the palate is opulently rich, ripe and round, with the Malbec influence very evident. Luscious and mouthfilling. Drink to 2016.
