Ranked #11 of 16 1995 Shiraz from Barossa Valley
Peppery nettley aromas. Dense, chewy and concentrated palate. Chewy tannins, lots of flesh here. A bit monochromatic.
Drink: 2013 to 2020
91 Points James Halliday
Medium to full red-purple; the bouquet is smooth and clean, with a mix of dark chocolate and berry fruit of medium to full intensity; oak in restraint. The palate is rich and full, with dark berry fruit and layers of texture and structure; subtle oak. 1995 was far from a poor vintage for Shiraz. Drink to 2010.
