Huon Hooke
Deep, dark colour; an impressive appearance. Strange bouquet: animal and crushed oyster shells. The palate is lean and a bit bony, lacking flesh and fruit and charm. Not very cabbish. Very odd, possibly some Brett. Certainly an off-year, and not a good example of Coonawarra cabernet.

94 Points James Halliday
Medium red, with the purple just starting to diminish; a bouquet of spice, bramble and blackberry woven through integrated French oak is followed by an altogether warmer palate, with chocolate, mocha and blackberry flavours, sweet oak and ripe tannins. Drink to 2015.
