88 Points Robert Parker
The dark ruby/purple-colored, big, minty, black currant, and peppery-styled 1999 Shiraz offers plenty of spice, excellent concentration as well as purity, and a soft finish. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.

93 Points James Halliday
Medium red-purple; complex, ripe, scented spicy/cherry fruit aromas provide a most attractive start; the medium-bodied palate flows logically on, with soft, ripe, spicy/cherry fruit, and subtle but complementary oak. Vaguely reminiscent of some of the best wines from the 1989 vintage. Drink to 2008.
