88 Points Robert Parker
A top effort, the 2002 Gaia, a proprietary Bordeaux blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Merlot, possesses a deep ruby/purple color, an elegant bouquet of sweet cherries, black currants, olives, earth, and background wood, lovely richness, and a lean, austere finish. It will benefit from another 1-2 years of cellaring as it is currently going through a restrained, unyielding period, and will last for 10-15 years.

A vibrant array of red and blackcurrant/cassis fruit; substantial but fine and balanced tannins; good oak. Drink to 2022.
