Hardy's Thomas Hardy Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon

96 Points James Halliday

Still dense and strong in colour, the bouquet is primarily powered by sweet blackcurrant fruit, the palate packed with dense blackcurrant/blackberry fruit, the tannins still to fully soften but in balance. Drink to 2026.

"In the pantheon of Australian cabernet this wine attempts to sit as one of the Gods – and value-assessments aside, it’s certainly a very good wine. A blend of McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills fruit (no longer Coonawarra) the nose has an ethereal, fragrant leaf-sweetness (licoricey basil and sweet dried tobacco), a lifted mintiness, plus nicely settled and seasoned black fruit power. It’s all quite charming."
