Excellent vintage. Medium to full tawny-red colour, very good for its age. Marvellously complex bouquet, mellow and slightly vegetal and spicy with charcuterie and roast meat aromas. Full-bodied, concentrated, powerful in the mouth, quite explosive flavour. Lots of alcohol warmth and drive, and endless length of palate. Very good, very ripe wine.
