It is a streamlined, tightly-knit, ruby/purple-hued effort displaying notes of blackberries, charcoal, dried herbs, sweet cherries, and hints of figs and vanillin. More opulent in the mouth than its bouquet suggests, it offers attractive, well-defined flavors in a medium to full-bodied, moderately tannic style. It should age nicely for 7-8 years.
