88 Points Robert Parker
The 2000 Chardonnay Tiers is a serious, Burgundian-styled effort. While revealing more color and additional roasted nut and toasty wood characteristics, it possesses extremely high acidity. However, it is supported by riper fruit, more flesh, and better length. I suspect it will be best drunk young. Once the fruit falls away, the acidity will become even more objectionable.
