90 Points James Halliday
Medium red-purple; there are classic Coonawarra cabernet aromas in which blackcurrant fruit has an almost dry, distinctly earthy core. The palate is rich and full, with more of that blackcurrant fruit touched by earth; very concentrated, as one would expect from a wine of 14 degrees alcohol, and finishing with moderate tannins. Drink to 2005.
