Medium to full red-purple; while the varietal character is clearly defined in a strong, blackcurrant/cassis mode, the bouquet is distinctively elegant, a character which enhances the tightly knit palate. There are no surprises with the flavours of blackberry and blackcurrant, nor the lingering tannins on the finish. Drink to 2013.
