Ranked #9 of 17 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon from Barossa Valley
Nice depth and hue of colour and attractive black fruit aromas; blackberry. Tannic in the mouth, very oaky and slightly bitter with a lot of oaky tannin and grip. Slightly tart. Not a very fine or elegant wine, but does have flavour and guts.
Drink: 2012 to 2020

Inky purple colour, powdery mouthcoating tannins, dark ripe fruit, creamy oak and full bodied to be sure. All in all not a bad offering from this reliable label. Drink in the next 1 to 5 years
