RP 89 points: Deep brick coloured, this bottle was showing a bit of barnyard / medicinal brettanomyces character on the nose giving way to aromas of dried cranberries, leather, smoked game, iodine, sultana & some spice box notes. The medium bodied palate has crisp acidity with a medium level of fine tannins & a good amount of earthy / savoury flavours, lending a long layered finish. Peaked & still pleasant, this wine needs drinking up.
