Medium to full red colour with just the faintest tinge of purple. Charred oak aromas, slightly dominant. Intense, powerful, concentrated and tannic, perhaps slightly bitter in its extraction - not really a problem. But it's powerful, dense and full-bodied, a muscular wine with great length and aftertaste. Long-term keeper.
