Ranked #50 of 133 2006 Shiraz from Eden Valley
Medium dark red purple. Mulberry nose, soft and mellow with fruit uppermost. Sweet fruit mid-palate and supple tannins; wild berry flavours. Could easily be a shiraz-cabernet, with its cassisy aspect. Opulent, sweet fruited, smooth; not that complex but quite delicious. Easy to drink now.
93 Points James Halliday
Bright colour; touch of reduction, with a savoury dark array of fruit; medium-bodied, dry and with a mineral quality to the palate; a firm and long finish. Drink to 2018.
