88 Points Robert Parker
The 1993 Shiraz St. Henri offers a smoky, hickory, spicy-scented nose with hints of pepper and black fruits. More opulent and layered, with better flesh and fat than the Magill Estate, this chewy, concentrated, lusty Shiraz should drink well for 5-6 years.

90 Points James Halliday
Medium red-purple; a clean and smooth bouquet of medium intensity, with blackberry and black cherry fruit supported by just a touch of oak. The palate shows a greater range of dark fruit flavours tinged with a touch of bitter chocolate and a faintly stemmy tang, which is not in the least unpleasant. Retasted October 1997 and developing well; mixes power with finesse. Drink to 2013.
