92 Points Robert Parker
The 2005 Shiraz “M Reserve” is a glass-coating opaque purple. Slightly reticent aromatically, it gives up mineral, pencil lead, and scorched earth aromas as well as notes of blueberry and blackberry. On the palate the wine is structured and slightly compact. It will need a minimum of 5-7 years to blossom although the potential is there.

95 Points James Halliday
Dense crimson; extremely powerful, dense and rich, sumptuous rather than aggressive; dark chocolate comes through strongly, and the wine has a certain finesse on the finish. Drink to 2016.
