90 Points Robert Parker
Blended of 42% Shiraz, 30% Mourvedre and 28% Grenache, the 2008 Bin 138 Shiraz Mourvedre Grenache spent 15 months in old French and American hogsheads. Very deep garnet-purple colored, the nose is youthfully mute giving subtle to moderately intense warm blackberry and black cherry aromas with supporting notes of damp earth and hung meat. Full and crisp with medium-firm chunky tannins, it has plenty of taut fruit flavors and a long finish. Drink it now to 2018.
