Ranked #2 of 18 2007 Shiraz from Grampians
Medium dark red purple. Rich but savoury plum, rose-petal and raspberry, earth and sweet spice aromas. Medium full bodied, soft and smooth in mouth, savoury and quite complex, with a gentle refined tannin texture. Rich and fleshy with plenty of extract. Very appealing drink and will cellar well. Fine and elegant. A wine I'd love to drink.
96 Points James Halliday
Near-identical deep crimson colour to all six releases; has the multi-layered flavours promised by the bouquet, and more texture from the fine, ripe tannins which run through the medium- to full-bodied palate and lingering aftertaste. Drink to 2022.
