Deep red/purple colour; youthful. 'Crushed leafy' aromas, some tobacco, St Emilion-like and quite intriguing. Cigarbox starting up. Intense and lively in the mouth with fairly high (but not unbalanced) acidity underlining the tannins, and firming them up. A different style. Very elegant, stylish, with more raspberry red fruit than usual. Not green, despite the cold year.
