Ranked #50 of 56 2009 Sémillon from Lower Hunter
Drink: 2011 to 2011
93 Points Robert Parker
The 2009 Botrytis Semillon has a deep straw to gold color and lovely honeycomb and musk aromas over preserved kumquat and ginger plus a whiff of balsamic. The palate is very sweet and rich with concentrated exotic fruit layers offset by very high acid and finishing long. Delicious now, it should continue to drink through 2016.

93 Points James Halliday
Gleaming, glowing golden yellow; the botrytis impact isn't marked, but the wine is very luscious and complex, suggesting some desiccation was also involved; yellow peach and cream — a liquid dessert. Drink to 2014.
