A very bretty wine but a delicious drink. This may sound hypocritical, but it isn't. Typical of the maker, this is a gorgeous fine, ethereal wine on the palate, silky smooth and refined, as well as tremendously complex in aroma and flavour. Part of that complexity is Brett, but it doesn't ruin the wine - at least for me. Others will not be so forgiving. Delicious, succulent, velvet-smooth and finessy. (Difficult to rate: my score is a hedonic one)

92 Points Robert Parker
Still closed and tannic, the 1995 requires an additional 5-6 years of cellaring. It should keep well through 2020.
