91 Points Robert Parker
Containing 4% Viognier, the 2008 Shiraz gives a deep garnet-purple color and notes of ripe blackberries, black cherries, Mediterranean herbs and lilacs over nuances of black pepper, bacon and fertile earth. Medium bodied with crisp acidity and a medium level of fine-grained tannins, the palate is filled with vibrant berry and cherry flavors, finishing long with notes of anise and white pepper. Drinking now, it should give pleasure through 2018+.

96 Points James Halliday
Usual good colour; a shiraz made by a pinot noir maker, and harking to the affinity between the Northern Rhône and Burgundy. Perfumed and silky, it is no more than medium-bodied; is supple and long, fruits washing between red and black. Drink to 2020.
