Huon Hooke
Medium-full red, no purple. Shrill minty vegetal aromas; grassy and suspect some cabernet blended in. Possible stalk inclusion. Palate soft and rounded, gentle and mellow, a bit weak and falls away a bit. Odd vegetal aspects. Just an OK wine.

Deep crimson; still a powerful and youthful bouquet and palate, bedecked with ripe, but not overripe, blackberry and plum fruit; fine ripe tannins and quality oak complete a wine that fully reflects the quality of the vintage. Drink to 2026.
