94 Points Robert Parker
Deep garnet-brick in color, the 2002 Odyssey Cabernet Sauvignon reveals glorious aromas of warm blackcurrants, violets, dried mint and meat infused with nuances of baking spices and tree bark. Full-bodied, rich, and concentrated, the medium to firm, grainy tannins and lively acid line support a long finish laden with layered, savory fruit. It is slow developing with lots of time left. Mature, drinking now.

95 Points James Halliday
Here the wine spends 38 months in oak, in the manner of the super-cuvees of Guigal; in the same way, it achieves miraculous balance, the fruit supple and sinuous; delicious blackcurrant flavours intermingle with cedar, mocha and cigar box; fine tannins to close. Drink to 2025.
