Bright straw-green; while principally sourced from a high altitude vineyard in Tumbarumba, has a small amount of estate-grown chardonnay included; hand-picked, whole bunch-pressed, warm fermentation and lees stirred during ageing in French oak; a wonderfully intense, largely fruit-driven, wine with layers of white and yellow peach, grapefruit and a hint of oak; the intensity and drive of the palate are outstanding.
