Pale red-purple. Volatile acidity is the first aroma, then some attractive red fruits. Palate is light-bodied and lean, a touch pinched and not very generous, but has good flavour in a delicate framework, and certainly tastes better than it smells. Ethereal style, fine and delicate, looks and tastes very natural. Volatility lifted off a little as it aired.

Light, crystal-bright crimson; a super-elegant wine right in the heartland of Mount Mary pinot noir; the bouquet is fragrant, with perfumed red fruits, the silky palate with those fruits complexed by some precisely judged savoury characters giving length. Drink to 2020.
