Classic old vine Shiraz with great fruit density, impressive flavour complexity and a structure that will ensure that the wine ages gracefully. There has been no compromise in favour of early drinkability although it can certainly be appreciated now. Serious Shiraz

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2010 Stonewell Shiraz opens to aromas of creme de cassis, warm blackberries and black cherry coulis with hints of dark chocolate, espresso, Chinese five spice and underbrush. Medium to full-bodied, it offers a nice harmony of warm blackberry and exotic spice flavors framed by medium to firm, rounded tannins and balanced acidity before finishing with very good persistence. Drink it now to 2020+.
