94 Points Robert Parker
The 2008 Reserve Shiraz gives a very deep garnet purple color and pronounced notes of warm black currant, crushed blueberries, mocha, licorice, bark and a bit of pepper. Crisp and very tight in the mouth, the tannins are still quite firm yet wonderfully fine and ripe lending a good backbone to the rich, opulent fruit. The finish is very long. Give this beauty another year or two to open and soften and consider drinking it 2012 through 2020.
