Medium garnet-purple in color, the 2011 Iconic Maurice O-Shea Shiraz is profoundly scented of black plum preserves, blackberry tart and black forest cake with hints of mocha, fertile loam, menthol, cloves and fruit cake. This medium-bodied, taut and muscular palate packs a lot of flavor into an elegant package alongside firm, grainy tannins and lively acid to support. It finishes very long. Drink it now to 2024+.
