An estate-grown 91/8/1% blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and cabernet franc; the handpicked fruit was destemmed and berry sorted before fermentation of up to 30 days on skins; 18 months maturation in French oak (50% new). This is a glorious cabernet, its blackcurrant, cedar and spice bouquet leading into a seamless, perfectly balanced palate with cassis and redcurrant fruit framed by cedary oak. It is the amazing tannins, softly woven into the fabric of the fruit that gives this wine its ultimate and unique class. Drink to 2052.
