Huon Hooke
Very bright, youthful, deep purple/red colour. Peppery and cassis-like aromas, youthful and fresh. The palate is bright and young, a little unready, with firm abundant tannins and decent length. This will benefit from a little cellar-time. Good, clean, well-made cabernet.

95 Points James Halliday
The grapes come from 40-year-old estate vines, which have provided a wine with clear-cut varietal character; bright and lively cassis fruit runs as a pure stream of flavour through the length of the medium-bodied palate; oak and gently savoury tannins tie the parcel up to perfection. Drink to 2025.
