97 Points James Halliday
The wine spent 2 years on lees in 50/50% French and American oak. An outstanding shiraz from a great vintage, with layer-upon-layer of black fruits, spice and licorice framed by ripe tannins and oak, the latter perfectly balanced and integrated. Despite its complexity and power, it is elegant and little more than medium-bodied. Drink to 2040.
