Huon Hooke
Very youthful, bright, deep, purple/red colour. Intense plum and black fruit aromas, without perhaps the intensity of spicy detail of 2012, but very good. Rich, full-bodied and plummy in the mouth, with ample tannins; soft, smooth and balanced. It just needs time.

Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 Shiraz has a gorgeous nose of black cherry compote, blueberry pie and crème de cassis with suggestions of violets, vanilla pod, baking spices and dried mint. Full-bodied with plenty of expressive spice-laced fruit in the mouth, the tannins are soft and fine while the acid lends seamless freshness through the long finish.

Turkey Flat has long established its distinguished, yet seemingly effortless, medium-bodied style that doesn't have to carry to burden of high alcohol; the flavours cover the full range of red, purple and black fruits, with a juicy core given texture and shape by precisely managed oak and tannins. Its overarching balance guarantees a long life. Drink to 2038.

Built on Barossa Valley grenache, touched up with a dash of shiraz, cabernet and dolcetto, this is an elegant, textural and fruity rosé of watermelon, guava, poached strawberry and raspberry fruit. A subtle lick of sweetness neatly rounds out a refreshing finish. Even, balanced and as impressive as ever. Drink 2013 - 2014.
