Ranked #17 of 26 2010 Pinot Noir from Échezeaux Grand Cru
A very good, workmanlike Burgundy. A quality wine, if not transcendent.

A hint of menthol combines with pretty spice notes to add breadth to the reserved plum and cassis suffused nose. There is impressive size and weight to the exceptionally rich, indeed even velvety middle weight plus flavors that possess fully mature tannins that impart a solid but not aggressive firmness to the mouth coating and strikingly persistent finish. An excellent Ech. Drink from 2022.
