Ranked #41 of 46 N/V Pinot Noir from Champagne
Tuilé colour: a medium to light tile-pink, almost copper colour, suggesting some development. The bouquet is mellow, mature, a bit restrained. The wine has attractive matured flavours, and is dry and savoury, with some persistence. A pleasant mellow style.
Drink: 2019 to 2019

Moutard’s NV Brut Rose is made in a relatively light-weight, feminine style. Red berries, flowers and sweet baking spices are woven together on a soft, subtle frame. This shows lovely length and persistence, but not quite the personality of the estate’s top wines. The Rose is made from 100% Pinot Noir that sees a short period of maceration on the skins followed by three years on its lees. This bottle was disgorged in July, 2010. Dosage was 10 grams per liter. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2013.
