Ranked #50 of 99 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon from Barossa Valley
Medium to medium full red-brickred. Dusty earthy nose, lacks brightness and primary fruit. Palate is lean and tangy: some acidity shows. Rather sinewy and edgy. Not rich or fleshy. OK.
94 Points James Halliday
Deep crimson colour, excellent for the vintage; a well made wine, with juicy blackcurrant fruit and no heat; the house style hint of sweetness works well here, leading to a rising cadence on the finish. Drink to 2016.
