As with the Vergelesses, there is mild reduction present that in this case is sufficiently slight that it doesn't unduly detract from the sense of aromatic freshness exhibited by the red currant, plum and soil-inflected nose. There is excellent size and weight to the very rich, round and impressively complex broad-shouldered flavors that display a subtle minerality on the refined, balanced and strikingly long finish. This is a Bressandes that will age for years yet is not so firmly structured that it won't be approachable young. Drink to 2022.
