Deep, dark colour that shows some age but is in excellent condition; the bouquet likewise youthful and bright with lavish fruitcake, star ansie, mint and blackberry jam aromas, the palate very full bodied and powerful, with excellent tannin backing and a lovely seamless flow through the palate to a long finish. Impressive wine and it's developing gracefully, suggesting it will live long.
