Deep red/purple colour. Minerally, almost metallic, iron-filings aroma, some pepper and fresh earth notes. All savoury, not fruity at all. Good intensity and drive, line and length. It will age well.

Deep, dense wine, matured in 100% French oak. This is one of the richest, most dense Bin 128s I can recollect, its long-term future assured - just remember the Woodley Treasure Chest series or Wynns Shiraz from the '50s and '60s. Velvety black fruits are magically captured in a rich, round mouthfilling burst of flavour. Drink to 2038.
