Dense, concentrated purple/red/black colour; the aroma has some charm and sophistication, while the palate has density and concentration. It's very full-bodied and rich, dense and compact, powerful and loaded with fruit and tannin. Lots if dark fruit, spice and a lacing of graphite, soot and charcoal characters. I like it, in an admittedly full-bodied, deep and robust style with lashings of tannin. There's a faint hint of mint in the palate. Cellarworthy.

Good colour, still crimson; a rich and bold shiraz with abundant flesh on its bones, and no shortage of tannins or oak - just the X-factor MIA. Drink to 2028.
