Deep, bright purple/red colour. The aromas involve an array of berries and floral notes, with an undertone of spice, and the palate is even more charming than the 2014, if that were possible - thanks to marginally greater detail and fruit sweetness. The fruit flavours seem a touch riper but there is still plenty of spice. The finish is firmed up and given extra structure by superbly judged fine-grained tannins. An outstanding young cool-grown shiraz. (240 dozen made. To be released mid-2017)
