Huon Hooke
Deep red/purple colour, vivid and young. The aroma is likewise fresh and young, with pepper and spice notes and mineral, ironstone nuances. The palate is medium to full-bodied and sinewy, with lively and somewhat metallic acidity. There is a faint cheesy note in the background. An unusual shiraz. It's very young and a bit raw, but I suspect it will perform, given time.

97 Points James Halliday
A picture of good health, balance, flavour and length. It bristles with freshness, with power, with authority. The fruit - blueberry and blackberry, splashed with earth and ground coffee - is soft, but the tannin is ropey and firm, like arms around a bountiful harvest. A very long life is in store. Drink to 2040.
