87 Points James Halliday
Appealing colour; deep and vibrant. A bouquet of blackberry jam, choc-mint, and a dash of entry level oak fits the bill for the regional-varietal-price equation. Just about medium-bodied, there's a reasonable mouthful of ripe fruit flavour, although it doesn't aspire to anything beyond soft and simple in style overall. Good, undemanding everyday drinking. Drink to 2022.
