90 Points Robert Parker
Pale to medium garnet-purple colored, the 2012 The Absconder Grenache opens with notes of black raspberries, warm red plums and red currant jelly alongside hints of powdered cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and orange peel. The medium to full-bodied palate then offers a good amount of spicy red berry flavors contoured by soft, velvety tannins and lively acid. It finishes with good length. Drink it now to 2018+.
