90 Points Robert Parker
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2009 Shiraz offers earthy notes of forest floor, damp loam and black truffles over a core of ripe black plums, crushed blackberries and cassis. Full bodied with a very good concentration of taut, muscular fruit, it is firmly structured with a medium to high level of chewy tannins and crisp acidity, finishing long and savory. Approachable now, it should remain good to 2017+.
